Signups for tryouts are out now! Due to the high interest this year, we are adding more slots. Click on the link above to sign up before spots are filled. Please bring a resume.

Check out the resources on this website and amcamootcourt.com to prepare. Tryouts consist of a short interview and presenting your argument on the 2025-26 problem to executive Moot Court members. Find out how you can make an excellent resume with Harvard Law School's Resume Workshop. If you have any questions, feel free to email untmootcourtteam@gmail.com so one of the executives can help.

Provisional Team
Try out in Spring to compete in fall! Practices occur once or twice a week via Zoom during the Summer. Then, once August comes, Provisional Team Members undergo a Performance Review to get onto the Traveling Team. Provisional Team Members receive priority for slots on the Traveling Team!
Traveling Team
Also known as our Competition Team, this is the Members who compete and travel across the nation. Members are required to attend 3 hours of weekly practice between 5-7pm on Mondays-Thursdays during the Fall Semester. Traveling Team Members are also expected to attend practice in Spring, unless they graduate during the Fall Semester
Eligibility
To be a Member of the Moot Court, you need to be:

An undergraduate student pursuing your first bachelor's degree

In good academic standing with UNT

At least 17
-
Able to travel with the team during both Fall and Spring semesters
